We are being made homeless in August and urgently need between 50 & 60 acres of land for our project to continue.

The herd graze freely within the land so all we need is access to water, parking nearby and if at all possible a barn or the space to erect a teepee for wet weather activities such as making up our herb balls.

Our conservation grazing rate promotes land biodiversity and encourages rewilding.

The Hope Charity Project is a charity supporting young people who are struggling with their mental health. They have been without a permanent home for over 18 months and have been forced to move all their support online.

They work with young people and their families, offering counselling, therapy, emotional care and guidance. They have a shipping container that contains everything need to see families once again, they just need a home.

We have have been in talks with Brighton and Hove Council over several years about the renewal of their farm tenancies and the hope that we can occupy a small slice of the Downlands Estate. We need support from the public to ensure us and other community projects are a key part of the future of the Downlands Estate.

If you know of land that is available or you would like to add your voice to what is happening on your Downs please get in touch with Dan here or Claire through their website  www.hopecharityproject.org or visit the BDA’s website  https://www.brightondownsalliance.org.uk
